My question related to the current article about the OLmen... what about Benedict, the transfer from UGA? Just no mention of him at all, and it is my understanding he may be in position to be a starter, or at least in the rotation to get a lot of game experience this fall. Has something happened to him?

I was very impressed with how Andy picked up where Kyle Tucker left off, but with a more polished approach. He didn't seem to miss a beat. Maybe that polish and professionalism raised my expectations, so when Andy wrote about Marcus Vick... I came down hard on him, at least in my mind.

Usually Andy is very thorough, so again I am surprised he overlooked Benedict (unless I missed some news concerning Benedict).

I'll give him a break... Andy may have been called upon to get a story on the Norfolk St. Basketball team's big win, about the time he was working on the VT OL article.

I do like Andy's current series with positions and interviews with coaches.... so most of the time I agree 100% with your comment and encouragement for Andy.

Eventually I will get over Marcus Vick being associated with VT, still.

As pk pointed out, there is an entire paragraph on Benedict. There's even a picture! Haha, not sure how you missed that.

I don't quite understand your anger with the Vick article. VT sports reporters should never talk about past players? Or just not when they do something bad? It wasn't even a blog post dedicated to Marcus. It was less than 10 sentences, basically a passing thought, at the end of a blog about Hosley. I see no issue there
