I'm referencing people choosing to find flaws in Greenberg when they watch other games, then coming on here and prefacing their criticisms by essentially saying - gee, I meant no harm in saying our coach is defective...' - especially when the flaw they think they've unearthed is not a flaw of Greenberg's at all.

I think if you bothered to look and observe, you would find lots of instances of our coaching staff understanding fully how to deal emotionally with the players. Here's hoping you do so, some day.

Anything less than 43 and I'm not happy...
"The Hokies won an outright ACC championship during their first year in the conference. That's a feat Tech's in-state neighbor to the north has never accomplished in 52 seasons. For the record, it took Tech 12 weeks."

Have you ever been in the Dean Dome? The banners hanging from the ceiling should answer your question.

These kind of things have long lasting effects as we put a lot of time/resources into these guys and then they leave. This then creates our "depth issues" which are only really an issue because guys transfer.

Sure there have been plenty of physical injuries but that goes the same with all other teams. As does transfers I know...but I just wonder if Seth's relationship with the players is the major flaw that does not allow us to stay at the highest level.

The original post spoke to a coach devoting lots of energy to convince his team they were good enough....when you see Garland, Atkins, Boggs, Swindle, Thorns all transfer it makes you wonder about how much confidence these players have in their ability to help the team. With these transfers no wonder we have depth issues. One or two injuries hurts our team because we only have 7 legitimate players....

Giving you an average would be impossible because it depends on who you play outside your conference. SG tried playing the "sisters of the poor" several years thinking he could win enought to get to the dance. That didn't work with the NCAA Selection Committee. You must win some out of conference games against good quality programs and enough ACC games to "dance". Winning and scheduling continues to haunt Tech and SG obviously is in that mix.

OK, so you have a moving target. Whatever Seth does is not quite enough.

The target isn't moving. Making the NCAAs is the target.

"making the NCAA is the target"

I can't see the body of your post, if there is one, but its been discussed repeatedly why that is a moving target.
