I expect to be in the NCAA Tourney next season. With that said, I expect that this team will be in the NIT next season. Does that make sense?

Next season is CSG's year to get VT into the Dance. If he doesn't, he is looking at the next year without EG (right now, his best player)........

If he does not make it next season, and Rankin or Brown does not step up to, at least, EG-like performance, we are in serious trouble movning forward.........

This team needs a star. We may get one out of DFS if he busts out the old Julius Hodge tapes and learns how to drive to the hoop, get fouled, and maked your free throws. Guys win All-Conference awards for doing this every year. Hodge knew how to do it. Delaney knew how to do it. Rivers (Duke) knows how to do it. DFS has the game to learn how to do it.
