That's the crappy thing about this whole deal. VT will not get any benefit of the doubt in any bubble talk and they need to realize this.
I think you're right, unfortunately. We will probably have to be at least two games better than on the bubble, to make the NCAA. Whatever the reasons, that seems to be the case. This is not sour grapes, because frankly, I could not care less about their postseason, but if we had the same resume as UVa, we would have been excluded. The same goes for probably all of the 9 & higher seeds. The excuse would have been our weak OOC SOS or something like that. Our weakness against Top 150 RPI teams, etc.
In the next decade or more, we will always have to be a couple of games better than a bubble team, just to squeak in. IIWII.
