NOte that this is not a knock on Raines. I believe that VT went into Raines too much during a critical stretch in the 2nd half and he could not deliver. The announcers and people said that Greene and Hudson were being held below their scoring output from the previous night. How can hudson score when the ball went into Raines for several straight possessions essentially.
We needed more diversity and instead we forced it inside and result was awkward shots.
If there was one thing I wished we would get out of our offense...it is the constant dribbling at the top of the key by Green for 20 seconds before anything is done.
He took six shots. SIX. And two or three of those were off of rebounds. Compare that with Green's 16 and Hudson's 9. You're barking up the wrong tree on this one.
