I knew NC State was upset that Hess had Chris Corchiani and Tom Gugliotta thrown out of a game, but I didn't realize that the ACC had removed him from his next scheduled NC State game. Then he gets mad and declines to work the ACC tourney and goes and works the Big East tourney instead.

Apparently the officials who worked the first tournament game yesterday put his initials on their shoes in protest.

From my personal viewpoint, he's a hot dog and the tournament is better off without him, but apparently this particular writer thinks he's awesome.

It will be interesting to see how State gets treated from the officials viewpoint going forward.
