OK Mac peeps...I've given you a fair shake and your holy grail still sucks

Been given the opportunity to use a MacBook for a project here at work. I'm trying to get what all the fuss is about. This thing is awkward, less intuitive, and just plain weird. I'm sure if I used this exclusively for a period, I'd get to the point where I was about equally proficient as I am on a PC, but no way this hunk of junk could ever been seen as better in my eyes. What am I missing?

Yes, but how do you look using it? Do you feel superior?

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

iPads and iTunes... that's all Apple has going for it anymore. The PC is king in the computer market, and that's not changing.

Apple's share of users is growing pretty rapidly....PC may always be number one, but that's because the available PC market is generally 500 or more to 1 at any given time (hundreds of PCs and Windows laptops to choose from with only 1 macbook to choose from)

Apple will always have a strong footing in certain career fields. I have a 27" iMac and love it. For someone who's job is spreadsheest and e-mails, a PC is just fine.

And for home users, a Mac is overkill for about 95% of the population.
More than 80% of the Lounge sorts by Last Post. You should, too.

Switched my home computer to a Mac last summer. I wouldn't say it sucks, but it ain't no holy grail either.

I'll give the Mac credit for one thing...it has yet to totally and completely lock up the way a PC can every now and then. But in my use, it has just as many stupid quirks as a PC does, they are just slightly different stupid quirks.
