Even worse, to be a 12 year old football fan and watch my Bengals go to the superbowl, only to lose to the hated 9ers. Then to get back a couple of years later...only to lose to the 9ers...then to watch them almost get decent every couple of years and find new ways to stink...Why could they not have ripped my team from me? I eventually got over it and gave up on them, but it would have been easier that way.

Hurting is when you are 12 year old who is a die hard football fan and you lose your team to another city and have no football for 12 years because of some drunk owner who had no business owning a team in the first place decides to move. Then to make matters worst, every Sunday, you have to watch some team with the same colors, the horseshoe representing another city that you use to cheer for. Then what's worst, is when you go to Canton, every reference of all the old players and championship is put in the Indy section. Every team loses an iconic player. Its tough but life goes on. Indy will still have a team tomorrow. Indy fans, get over it, you still have a football team.

When you leave a city, you should lose the rights to that nickname and history. Much like the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore Ravens.

I still have my black arm ban from the COLTS move to Indy. Baltimore should have been given the COLTS name and Indianapolis should have been called the Indianapolis VANS.

I've never warmed to the Ravens and it will remain that way as long as Ray Lewis plays for them.
