I take the under, and I take Israel as the doer.
I also think this will be an awful awful scenario.
Iran is a different beast than Iraq.

I take the over. I agree Iran is different. I think the whole world knows this. Diplomacy still has a chance.
I suspect that's why we sit on our oil reserves no matter how painful it is to pay the OPEC prices, though.
Someone believes the region is unstable enough to completely cut off the supply chain at some point.

Define "attacked". Does a single bombing count?
It's really iffy, and I honestly think you're going to see American politics actually play a role. I think they (Israelis) will look at the Presidential election in the fall, and try to determine whether the winner, as they see it, will offer them additional support. If they feel that a Republican will win that has had harder rhetoric towards Iran than Obama, you might see them wait. If they feel that Obama will remain in office, whose rhetoric they don't really like and in general have felt is too soft, they'll hit 'em sooner.
Personally I say it's a push, but for the sake of the future of oil prices, American troops, and peace in the middle east- I say I hope it's over.

No doubt. Have a feeling that if the roles were reversed (such as Venezuela had imported nuclear tipped missiles capabable of hitting the US with Chavez saying he was going to strike the US), then you would see our military taking those out. They would be a direct threat to the US.
I'm not sure how our leaders perceive Iran's threat to wipe Israel off the face of the planet. If I was in their shoes, wouldn't let anyone stop me from eliminating the threat."You start a conversation you can't even finish it
