Yes, Dong would most likely have won and scored 10 points for first place, 2 championship advancement points for a total of 12 points. Subtract 3 points for Hurd's 4th place finish and that's 9 more points for VT. Subtract 3 points from MD's total as well as Dong OWNS Johns at 157.

Figure the same math for Garnett. He would have added about 9 additional points for winning the bracket at 125 (which I am certain that he would have)

Assuming all med-rshirts are given and everyone comes back healthy, VT has a shot at placing at nationals next year.
