I got the Sony HDR-CX-160 in January - I noticed that several folks have this model. HD is really nice because you don't have to zoom way in to see jersery numbers.
The biggest problem for me is that the file format (.m2ts) is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. To create the clips, I have to convert the file first to .wmv or similar. I have an older PC and so it takes an hour or so to convert XX GB file. Very time consuming to go through the games, cut, splice and edit. Also, a tripod is a must. Good luck!
