And the Hokies have three of them.
The ACC is playing six non-Saturday games:
Friday, Aug. 31: NC State-Tennessee, Atlanta
Monday, Sep. 3: VT-GT
Thursday, Oct. 25: Clemson-Wake
Thursday, Nov. 1: Miami-VT
Thursday, Nov. 8: FSU-VT
Thursday, Nov. 15: UNC-UVa
I'll boil it down for you:
-- BC, Duke, and Maryland play every game on Saturday.
-- GT, NC State, Clemson, Miami, FSU, UNC and UVa all play one non-Saturday game.
-- Virginia Tech plays three non-Saturday games.
You can feel two ways about that: (1) proud that VT is a high-profile TV team that the ACC leans on for ratings; (2) ticked that VT gets shuffled all up and down the week, like they're still in the Big East or something.
Or maybe you can feel a third way about it. Feel free to share what that third way is.![]()

VT is the only ACC school with more than one non-Saturday game.
