Since you asked, bottling a Southern English Brown Ale this weekend for a contest in March. The only thing out of style will be 6% instead of 3.5% alcohol by volume, or what's the point? Presently working on a recipe for a Black Double/Imperial IPA for a contest in June. I am crafting a recipe that will be a hybrid of Laughing Dog Sneaky Pete and Bell's Brewery Hopslam. It will have 5 or 6 different kinds of spicy (not bitter) hops on a backdrop of orange blossom honey. Working on the grain bill right now to add some darker color.
