Well, it's not as if you weren't warned that it would make you go blind...

At 43, it was like all of a sudden, couldn't read the newspaper. Started with +1.25 and have gradually progressed to +2.00 over the past decade.

I don't think I'm easy to talk about. I've got a very irregular head. And I'm not anything that you think I am anyway.

I guess I fall in the over 40 / don't wear 'em category. Which is surprising since I stare at a computer screen all day and have for the past 20 years.

46, just switched from drug store reading glasses to "full-time" prescription glasses, with the progressive lenses. Really like them.

48, I started needing reading glasses, tried a single contact for reading, but my distance vision started to deteriorate and can't handle double contacts due to dry eyes...Now wear glasses almost every waking moment, and I'm now 54..... I spend serious jack on good looking glasses of superior quality. As far as I am concerned, its money well spent.

Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs

    50. My glasses have destroyed the eyesight that I had left. Now, 18 months later, the glasses are absolutely necessary.
