First - Fillmore Silver Spring is an awesome venue. Easy to park, easy in, easy out. Boy do they cram people in. Sold out show and they squeezed every body they could in the place.

Axl and Co. took the stage at midnight. Played until 3 a.m., essentially straight through. Lots of instrumental breaks, though, where Axl would go off stage and ... change hats (might have been doing something else too). Very little commentary (gave a shout out to Hammerjacks though), just 3 hours. Sounded spot on and the "cover band" (that's been GnR longer than the original lineup was) was strong.
