Defensive scheme hasn't really changed when there are still two bigs in the game. Scott can take on Sene's role while Mitchell or Atkins plays the 4 spot. The Bigs in this system are interchangeable. One thing that is a major difference is shot blocking, you can't replace that ability of Sene's. Even when he wasn't blocking shots he altered a lot of drives. But you will see the same defensive philosophy, doubling the post and packing the lane.

Sammy has really had an up and down year. He really hasnt played poorly except for his shot during ACC play. His defense has been great and he is in top 10 in ACC in steals and has the best ASST to TO ration for UVa. He has hit a few shots over the last couple games, hitting 2 threes against maryland, so it will be interesting to see if he can continue that agianst Tech.
