Not sure if you mixed up the matches. Ramos and Carter are an even match: if they wrestled 10, they'd win five apieces. It was a close match, but Ramos won this one. I thought Devin recovered from the Colon beating pretty well.
The match with Colon, was a far different matter as Devin got his arse kicked. If you have watched Carter this year, you'll know his form hasn't been flawless. Colon (and Schwaub) saw a hole and exploited it quite well. Devin's still not great on bottom, so once Colon got the TD, the points started racking up.

Are you sure you are talking about the Ramos match? The one that ended up 3-2? I'd say that is pretty even and there was certainly no "relative ease" about it. DC beat him by a similar margin earlier in the year... He was completely dominated by the NI kid though, that was rough to watch. But the Vetterlein pin a little later was worth the price of the webcast!

Agree that the Ramos/Carter match wasn't as close as the score. Carter never came close to taking him down and Ramos had a takedown erased at the buzzer. Carter seemed content to just keep the match close, which is totally opposite of the style I've seen him wrestle in the past.
