The football team took a really tough loss in the Sugar Bowl. The men's basketball team looks like a disaster and I am not bullish on our future. The women's basketball program is a train wreck that is hopefully beginning to recover. The baseball team usually is happy just to make the ACC tournament. Thank goodness for wrestling I guess.

The performance of our programs is troubling. I think basketball is at the beginning of a real downward slide and I am very concerned that this team cannot score more than 50 points in a game. I think the Sugar Bowl loss will be a tough one for this team to shake with all of the personnel losses that we will have on offense. Frankly I am worried that we are in for a very tough time of it.

Does anyone else out there feel as uncomfortable as I do for the immediate future of our athletics program?
Football will be fine until Frank retires...everything else is going to be like it always has been...a good year every now and then mixed in with mediocrity. We were fortunate to have a freshman class with three quality players that started for four years. Lot's of moaning and bitchin during that four year term but gee wiz...look what we have now!

The Hokie bandwagon fans are getting a reality check that is for sure.
