OK, who wants one of these babies:

A U.S. designer of amphibian vehicles has come up with the Phibian, a high-speed vehicle that is just as happy in the water as it is on and off the road.

The craft was revealed to the public today, ahead of the annual conference of the American Society of Naval Engineers.

Gibbs Amphibians says its new vehicle has a top speed of 30mph on the water, and land speeds they coyly describe as 'highway-capable'.

I'll take one of the Aquadas, the more individual-sized version

Looks pretty cool.... and 30mph over water and >100 over land

Give me one of the yellow ones! Sweet!

The Fast Track looks like fun, but there isn't much ground clearance. Unless the belly is made out of relatively thick steel, guessing a rock would punch right through it.

Nah... just plain old brute force. Big waterjets powered by nearly twice the horsepower of an Abrams and huge planing surface. Once you get over the hump, off she goes. Beast mode.
