The JC that you refer to is in FL, which is a lot shorter trip than Holland!

The U of MO is a very good school academically, so unless this guy had some pretty nasty character issues, then this was a very huge miss, IMHO, and falls squarely on the shoulders of SG and those that he pays for such evaluations.
Not a miss at all, couldn't have gotten him in school - simple as that. It was no mystery that Ricardo was really talented, I had him pegged for an NAIA or JUCO all the way though because it wasn't just that he wasn't a qualifier he wasn't even in the neighborhood of qualifying, in fact even after two years of JUCO he had to take a few extra classes to just slip by for Missouri to be able to take him.

So you can call it a huge miss but considering landing him has always been impossible I don't think that's a fair assessment.
