Not an easy roadie men.
Not that there is any such thing in the first-place inside the never friendly visiting confines of in-conference A.c.c. road games.
Maryland is noticeably better and home and both teams are desperate for a win.
Making this one something of a rarefied crossroad game for both squads alike.

B'st, do you keep track of your predictions? You seem to be generally on point with them. Any numbers?

Only thing we've tracked is the OPT tally. The Champ has
...9 championship belts.
After that one with 5, and a handful with 4.
Then everyone else.
So I suppose the answer is "no sir" long term.
Though I can tell you that when I ran the numbers (2-3 years ago) C2 was in first-place as overall progsnotication goes. I can also tell you that my pre-season picks have been about 1 to 1+ games to the better compared to in-season picks. HTH's.

Are we really favored? Worth yelling!
If we are actually favored I will be putting a large chunk of money on MD plus the points.
Heck, I will probably take MD -5 if that's what the line ends up being.

I can't believe we are favored. I assume that Vegas knows what they are doing but they have been pretty bad at setting lines for our games. Off the top of my head the game we played at BC where we were a favorite of 8, and the UNC home game where we were a 7 point dog come to mind.
Maybe the starting for MD wont be playing.

We'll be lucky to win four ACC games this year, but your courage in continuing to report anyway is
above & beyond the call.

Hack-Fu------------->
As in fish-hack or a short for reporter (i.e. the sport-section as a fish-wrap), plus Chinese or whatever ethnicity the ghost of Robert C. Byrd is currently hatin' on.

Bstreet -- you mention the possibility of the CBI in a few places, if we don't make the NIT.
It appears that both the CBI and the CIT (the other low level postseason tournament) have positioned themselves as being mostly for mid-majors. Last year, the CBI took one team (Oregon) from a "BCS" conference, and the CIT took none.
Teams like Maryland and Minnesota and others from big name conferences, that didn't make the NIT, did not get invited to the CBI or CIT either.

Thank you. FREE "fatso"!!! And are you saying...
....that VT would not get (or possibly decline) a sub N.I.T. post-season bid?
TIA Steve.
I enjoy your takes.
