in terms of the criticism of Greenberg. I have seen a LOT of posters list pluses and minuses of Greenberg and a lot of the time in the plus column there is something along the lines of "a good defensive coach/mind" or "teaches his players how to defend well" but in the negatives there is something along the lines of "doesn't teach fundamentals" or simply "his teams don't play fundamental basketball."
To me those statements are in conflict and I'd like to understand what is meant by those lines. I was going to reply to particular posts but I've counted at least ten different posters making comments along those lines in the last two weeks so thought it might make a good individual thread.
If SG is as good as you seem to think, why hasn't he been more successful in his career in getting teams to the NCAAT?
