I find it facinating that any of our athletic teams are able to find any success due to the armpit that Blacksburg apparently is. Yet somehow our successful, and nationally ranked track team is able to get over 80 athletes, many of them African-American and from urban areas, to somehow make the sacrifice to come to cow town. And yet basketball can't get 10-12 to do so.
I don't buy it.
