    Jeff Allen Was Underappreciated

Allen, often the focus of Hokie fan criticism, was a warrior on the boards. We are seeing how good he was with the ineptness we show on the boards this year. Allen was a stud and we clearly miss him.

I was thinking the same thing during the game tonight. If somehow Jeff could have learned some discipline I think he might have been the best ever at Tech. Ticky tacky fouls often on the perimeter kept him from being a huge factor in a lot of games.

I have said it once, twice, thrice, and I will take it to the grave............Jeff Allen was the most talented ball player CSG has ever had and he had NO IDEA what to do with him........

To be fair to CSG, JA was not the easiest to get through to, BUT, as the coach and the guy who recruited the player, you are responsible.......

This year, there seem to be a lot more ugly hateful posts about this team than funny posts

True. And if that circle had been under the rim for last year's game in Chapel Hill, his dunk over Zeller would've been an and-one. A win @UNC might've put the team in the tourny. How can one team have this much bad luck?

Jeff Allen was no Ace Custis. He was his own worst enemy, too. I appreciated him but cringed to see him play.
