able to crawl around the new boards at this point, there is ONE thing I would REALLY like to be able to do. I see where "Advanced Search" lets you look up a post by someone. How can you look up ALL posts by that person (including replies to a post). It appears to me that if a person doesn't initiate the post, the search function ignores all of their posts (posts in response to some other post).
My FIRST guess, especially in this case, is USER ERROR... So, what am i missing? IF this is just the way it is, I find the function fairly worthless when searching for something in a past post/response or something said in response to a post, and would hope for an update to allow for such a search.
TIA

There are two types of advanced searches: Search Single Content Type and Search Multiple Content Types
When you go to advanced search, these are tabs at the top of the search area. The default is Search Multiple. But when you're searching for posts, Search Single is the better option. There you can specify a username and if you want to search for all posts by that user or only threads started by that user.
