Wondering how many TSL posters don't know the origin of "cc" in their email; kinda like in the world of digital clock displays "what does clockwise mean?"

I'd bet money some of these are imposters anyways. I know there are posters from Wvu/Uva-C/other ACC school that just come here and pose as Hokies, just so they can post as much negative stuff about everything VT as possible.

Iam 69 yrs old, had a stroke, know litleofcomputers,do not have a cell phone. However I love the Hokies and have since I was 16. Was so happy when someone told me about TSL. This for me has been tough but Somehow I have found my own way around this board. Sometime I make mistakes but I just start over and eventaly get to where I need to go. Might say to someone having trouble go to the correct FORUM and when your thead has finished go the the bottom and type NEXT THEAD. Think you can make it from there. Would hate to lose a good Hokie who could contribute to this board.

If I am not mistaken, "cc" goes back to the days of typewriters and carbon paper. Stands for "carbon copy." (Be very glad you or your secretary don't have to struggle with multiple carbons on a typewriter. You prayed that you wouldn't make a mistake and have to do multiple erasures! A nightmare!) Everyone knows that "clockwise" means moving in the same direction as the hands of the clock. Or was this a trick question? LOL

I sent a message to Will but am not sure if he received it. The pigeon has not returned.
This old Hokie fart also liked the old format better.
