Completely agree. He's got stars in his eyes and an agent whispering talk of dollar signs in his ears right now. A six figure car is definately a helluva jump into the adult world of finance. I wish him well and hope he follows your advice.

Best advice my father gave me: "There are two types of people in this world, those who work for their money and those whose money works for them. Everyone begins in the first group but not everyone makes it to the second group. Strive to make the second group because once you're there, life gets easier."

I've no problem with that at all. He's young and about to be a multimillionaire. Big deal if he blows a few thousand on a flashy car. Two years from now, he'll have something more practical. If not, still - big deal. If I won the lottery, I'd buy some ridiculous car as a reward to myself. I'd probably sell it right after I paid for my first $1500 oil change, but I'd have it for a little while, at least.
Ryan Williams got criticized on here for getting a Range Rover back before he was drafted. It seems like people are just jealous...

Here's a classic example of one advantage this new format has ... under the old format, this picture of David Wilson's ride would have been posted 5-10 times by now, as separate threads.
Just pointing that out, for anyone hatin' on the new format. It's got its advantages.
