More than likely it's your browser assuming you are using Internet explorer.

Horse crap! IE9 is probably the best browser on the market.

IE9 is a security nightmare right now...
Firefox 9 > IE9.

IE9 is a massive improvement over the past decade of total crap they shipped. But it's still firmly in 5th place for standards compliance. Yes it's even behind Opera and it's 1% market share. Given a choice nobody should be running any version of IE today. Unfortunately many don't have a choice. IE9 was a long overdue move in the right direction. IE10 looks promising.
