You see all the replies in the order they were posted and completely jumbled up with respect to the thought process. However, by viewing in threaded format, I can see that this post is intended to be a reply to Gotham's original post and actually has nothing to do with any of the other thoughts expressed on the topic, and I like it that way!
I'm finding that the linear view is preventing me from following a chain of thought, where thread view let's me see what messages relate to each other. MUCH easier to follow a conversation IMO.
