boys and lived to be 18. We were dogless for years. I have no idea what we were thinking. When the boys graduated from Tech, they sat me down and told me I needed a hobby (beer brewing) and another dog. Bella died at 8 months old of a heart problem and we got Lana as soon as another litter was born (same breeder, different doggie parents) Lana is 3 1/2. However, because Belgians are my favorite breed and are very active herding animals, this time we got the calm one of the litter. It's awful to lose them but the next one brings the joy back.
