The D-Line is going to be awesome and we are going to have a lot of depth next year. As long as Taylor and Winslow comes back healthy we should have really good linebacker play and plenty of depth. Will be interesting though if we move Edwards to Whip. Also, should be interesting if we move Fuller to Safety. Bonner should fill in well as a starter and hopefully Jarrett or Manning can fill in at the field corner. Screw FSU our defense will be better and so will our offense.

D should be great; O is wait and see (although I feel that way about our O every year). I think some of the new OL will be okay, but how will they be as a unit, and then we lose a lot of skill position players. I do think that LT already has pretty good chemistry w/ XBoyce and MDavis. The great thing about football is there is always excitement for the next year.

The D is going to be salty next year. Everybody in the two-deep of the front seven returns, including the guys who were injured. As long as Bonner/Jarrett step up at CB, and Aromire or Norman fill Whitley's spot at safety, this should be one of the great VT defenses.

We played 1/2 the season w/o Taylor and G-W, and our games against UVA and Michigan were impressive, defensively. If Taylor and G-W come back, recover from their injuries... we will be in even better shape. The defense that was playing at the end of the season showed a lot of promise for next season.

I agree... the D looked good against UVA and UM, but we have serious matchup issues with O's that have powerful OLines... See the Miami game and the UNC game. In my opinion, we were lucky to get out with a win against Miami. If UM would have just kept running the ball in the 2nd half they would've won easy. Our D wasn't stopping the run at all. Our front 7 is very athletic and quick, but terribly undersized.
