Familiar foe breeds friendly — or possibly unfriendly — trash talk in battle for Commonwealth Cup
Virginia Tech James Gayle isn’t shy about going up against good competition, so if Virginia right tackle Morgan Moses can’t play this week because of a lower leg injury, the Hokies’ defensive end wouldn’t mind pairing up with the Cavaliers’ All-ACC right tackle Oday Aboushi. -

In many ways, Marcus Davis could be the poster boy for this disappointing Virginia Tech football season. Undeniably gifted and often highly productive, Davis has also been frustratingly inconsistent in his senior year as a wide receiver for the Hokies. -
After big game at BC, receiver Marcus Davis glad he could give detractors ‘something else to talk about’

Hokies should beat Cavs…but will they?
With a week of regular season remaining, Virginia Tech is out of ACC title contention, but if the Hokies hope for a postseason bowl bid - and all of those extra practices that come along with it - a win over intrastate rival Virginia next Saturday is a must. -

Virginia Tech couldn’t muster much offense in the first half against Boston College on Saturday. It’s only score, a first-quarter field goal, was set up by a lucky bounce.
