Interesting. Thanks for posting this – “I did not know that”. I was an offensive and defensive halfback in high school, Class of ’82. My school was a little behind the curve, evidently.
Thanks for reminding how old I am. I’m familiar with these position names from when I started playing in the 8th grade. Just reading this article made my knees and ankles hurt.
