Why was this called “Lowlights”? There were many good Tech plays. I don’t get it.
On FSU’s first really long pass completion (41Yards 7:20 1Q), Detrick Bonner was completely unprepared for the snap. He was wandering around and gesturing with his back to the line of scrimmage. I’ve noted that the Tech defense sometimes seems very casual about getting in position on defense, making them sitting ducks for a hurry up offene.
Every win is labeled “Highlights”. Every loss is labeled “Lowlights”.
Sorry. Miss the intended homor (I guess) of your title: “Low-Lights”. I thought Tech played a hell of a game.
CaliDan – I agree. A hell of a game and fans of other teams have told me it was one of the best of the season.
It was very bang/bang, but go to 9:20 and pause at 9:23. FSU TE was blocking KJ2 prior to the ball arriving. He would have probably made the tackle, or slowed him up enough for KF to make the play. Had they called the penalty, that would have been huge.
I know it wouldn’t have mattered much, but what was Bonner doing? At 9:23 he’s at the 25 yard line at the left hash, then he doesn’t appear again until 9:27 at the 10 yard line? Guess he was still trailing his receiver.
