Good Counsel (Olney, MD) rising senior cornerback Kendall Fuller will announce his college choice this Sunday, July 29, at noon at the Champion Gridiron Kings event in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The 5’11″, 190-pound prospect, rated a 5-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, revealed the news this morning via Twitter.
“I will be making my college decision sunday at noon live on ESPN3 at #GridironKings which will be replayed Sunday at 7:00 on #ESPNU” – Fuller wrote.
Barring a big surprise, Fuller’s decision will come down to Clemson and Virginia Tech. He took unofficial visits to both schools in July, taking in Virginia Tech on July 14-15 and checking out Clemson on July 20. We at TSL feel Virginia Tech has the edge, though Clemson has certainly made this a tight race.
Stay tuned to TSL on Sunday for coverage of Fuller’s decision.
GRIDIRON KINGS
If Fuller joins Tech’s class, Hokie fans will be able to see two Tech class of 2013 recruits in action at the Gridiron Kings, a national 7-on-7 event. Manchester (Midlothian, VA) safety/linebacker Holland Fisher will also be participating. In fact, Fuller and Fisher will both play for the Midwest squad.
Full Gridiron Kings rosters can be found here. As Fuller mentioned in his tweet, the event can be seen live on ESPN3 at noon and will be replayed on ESPNU at 7 p.m.

So how accurate is the ESPN top 150? They have Kendall as a 4*? I find that odd.
Hope he makes the right decision but with or without him, I’ll take our coaches and players against theirs.

It was mentioned in last few days that Kendall had good friend who already committed to CU? Does anyone know who this is?
ASIDE FROM FAMILY CONNECTIONS—-does Kendall have any friends who have signed or are under consideration with VT?
